When it comes to business, Luxid’s Customer Lead Saara Parikka is definitely a go-getter. While she flirted with the idea of going into fashion design, her big dream from a very early age was becoming a businesswoman.
And it’s strong, successful businesswomen that inspire Saara the most: “The women at Luxid – Susanna, Sanna, Nitta, Eija, Sari, Niina, Marjut and others – inspire me every day,” says Saara. “Each of them brings unique strength, leadership, and resilience to the table. They all demonstrate that with the right mindset and determination, you can achieve anything.”
Saara was born and raised in Turku, a city she clearly loves. “It’s such a charming city with lots of history and great vibes,” says Saara. “I love how the city mixes old traditions with modern life.” And it was in Turku that her path to business success started, studying at the Turku School of Economics.
After a variety of roles in business and marketing, Saara joined BBN in 2018 and has been working at Luxid for the past seven years. “I’m really loving where my career is taking me,” enthuses Saara. “It’s been an awesome journey that lets me showcase my talents, work with amazing teams, and continue growing professionally.”
And it’s working with amazing teams that makes Luxid so special for Saara. She says that the company is constantly growing and it’s a place where talent is recognized and nurtured, and everyone is encouraged to push their limits.

As a Customer Lead, Saara gets to work closely with Luxid’s teams and clients to create solutions that really drive results. “Right now, I’m working on ABM – account-based marketing – and sales sequencing,” explains Saara. “These strategies are crucial for helping our clients connect with the right prospects in a meaningful way.”
The Luxid value that, not surprisingly, Saara most relates to is Driven. She says that she’s always pushing herself to learn and grow and is constantly seeking new ways to develop her skills. She says that her involvement in helping to shape Luxid’s ABM strategy has taught her a lot and enabled her to apply new techniques to client projects.
"Being ‘Driven’ is at the heart of Luxid’s strategy,” says Saara. “Everyone here is focused on improving and pushing boundaries, so we’re constantly evolving. It’s something that’s evident in everything we do, from how we approach projects to how we work together as a team.”
Outside of work, Saara clearly loves taking the opportunity to relax and just be outside: “I love taking naps outside during the summer. There’s something so refreshing about lying in the sun, letting the warmth relax me, and simply unwinding in nature. It’s one of my favorite ways to recharge.” Saara says she loves spending time in Southern Europe, where the weather is great, and she can relax and recharge.
And if Saara, could make one change in the world? Well, it’s back to her inspiration in life and how she can help other women to be successful: “I’d focus on providing education for girls around the world. Education empowers them to create their own future and make a huge difference in their communities.”
