Marie Duhamel has a very international outlook on life. Her passion in life is to travel and to discover new countries and cultures. Capturing plenty of great memories along the way.
“I find it very easy to adapt to new environments and cultures,” says Marie. “My proudest accomplishment is having lived in several countries before the age of 30. This has made me more curious, open-minded and resourceful, as I’ve learned to adapt to different cultures and situations on my own.”
Marie is now embedding herself in Finnish culture, exploring new cafes in Helsinki and seeking out great quality coffee. “I pay more and more attention to the coffee's quality and its origin,” says Marie. “After all, living in the country with the highest number of coffee drinkers, I might as well take full advantage of it!”
After growing up in Toulouse, France, Marie took herself off to China where she did a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration at East China University in Science and Technology (ECUST) in Shanghai. This gave her a fantastic grounding for her work at Luxid, where she is a Marketing Technology Specialist.
“I work on Crocs and HeyDude, primarily managing GTM (Go to Market) campaigns, but increasingly focusing on marketing automation as well,” explains Marie. “I love being able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, learning to utilise new tools, and continuously expanding my knowledge in martech.”

Outside of work, Marie is happiest sitting at a café terrace by the sea on a sunny day or having a picnic on the beach. Like many of her colleagues at Luxid, really appreciates living in a capital city surrounded by nature. “If I could choose to do anything for a day, it would be to go to a mökki [cottage] by a lake with friends, have a barbecue, and enjoy the outdoors, it's so relaxing.”
Spending time with friends and being focused on happiness is very important for Marie. “If I could be a superhero, I would possess the power to make everyone happy,” says Marie. “My goal would be to eliminate unhappiness because I believe that happiness is the key to a better world. I would also make insecurity disappear so I could create a safer and more stable environment where everyone could thrive.”
